AICIP as a group are hosting its project sources on bitbucket. The full path: http://bitbucket.org/aicip

You are encourage to learn and make use of git to manage your project code. You can find a basic tutorial here.

To get it started on either http://github.com or http://bitbucket.org and save a lot of typing of password, you should get started by generating a public and private key pair:

Public/Private Key Pair

ssh-keygen -t rsa

This command will generate two files under $HOME/.ssh - id_rsa the private key and id_rsa.pub the public key. It is the public key "id_rsa.pub" that is needed by aforementioned web site.

That is all from user's end. Once you have the confirmation that the repo is ready to use, you can proceed to Git Usage for further instructions on how to get it started.
